Synthetic Imagery

Synthetic Imagery

The latest photographic genre. I’ll admit I was wary and considered avoiding it altogether. I was also intrigued but worried that it would make everything I do as a photographer obsolete. In addition, would it make all my hard-won photography knowledge useless?

The jury is still out, as I haven’t produced enough work to form an opinion properly. Currently, it’s at the leading edge of photography and, correctly applied, can be an additional, complimentary art form that goes hand-in-hand with real-world photography.

Journey with me as I test-drive my ideas – it’s bound to be quite a ride and will surely blow your mind!
