Finding Inspiration in the Lake District

I create my work in a small Cumbrian town nestling on the edge of Morecambe Bay at the foot of The Lake District. My inspiration is taken from the bay’s waters, along with the many lakes, & their shorelines, forests and fells that surround me. I hope you enjoy looking at my Lake District digital photography images and other works as much as I have enjoyed creating them.

Firstly, take some time to look around. Click on any of the topic images below or in the menu bar to look at the pieces hidden beneath them. I hope to add new work regularly, so maybe you would like to bookmark my page and drop by now and again to see what’s been added. Visit the About page for more information.

Secondly, I have divided my galleries of Lake District digital pictures and other artworks into five main categories:

• Black & White images
• Botanical images
• Naturescape images
• Synthetic Imagery, and finally
• Visual Art images

Thirdly, please note these categories are organic and will occasionally change and evolve during the development of my art and these pages. Consequently, the ‘Photos’ tab on the menu at the top of this page will be updated to reflect the latest categories for my art and Lakeland digital photography. That is the best place to look for the most up-to-date pages to visit. Eventually, things will settle down, I promise!

Finally, these pages, featuring the Lake District & its surroundings, digital photography and composite art, were built during the latter part of 2023.
